 SES America recently deployed a 36" LED 'Turning Vehicles Yield To Pedestrian' symbol sign for the City of Portland, ME.  

This robust, easily observable sign is equipped with a light sensor to seamlessly adjust to morning light conditions and a polycarbonate face for a higher level of protection.  Additionally, it is  maximized with complete 30 degree viewing angle, made possible by the calculation of a SESA microprocessor that offers the appropriate lighting for increased visibility.

Double Warning Blank Out Signs Help Congestion in Phoenix School Zone

The  Traffic Deadlock Dilemma

Looking to address the traffic deadlock dilemma that plagues many urban American experiences, the City of Phoenix has deployed a double warning system in the drop zone of a local school. This area is prone to high volume vehicular congestion, especially during morning drop-off hours, with a left turn pocket at the school ground's entrance that clashes with a right turn lane from the other direction. These opposing lanes are often at odds, with drivers from both directions feverishly attempting to enter the drop zone area first.

SESA Completes Testing and Integration of New Hampshire Solar Powered Weigh Station Signs

SES America(SESA) and its partners New England Traffic Solutions and New England Signal Systems recently completed testing and commissioning of Solar Powered Signs for several Weigh Stations in New Hampshire. These signs are installed on I-93 near Windham, NH and will be used to display the status of weigh stations (OPEN or CLOSED) on both the northbound and southbound directions of the highway.

SESA Completes Installation of 24 Solar Powered Dynamic Message Signs Across Cape Cod

SES America successfully completed installation of 24 task-specific,  solar powered Dynamic Message Signs M5000 SOLAR at nine locations across Cape Cod, MA.

The installations are part of the Massachusetts Department of Transportation’s Real Traffic Time Monitoring initiative aimed at relieving congestion on highly-trafficked areas of Cape Cod during the busy spring and summer tourist seasons by providing travel time information to motorists at key locations along busy stretches of highway. Information is provided via the use of Bluetooth readers in conjunction with the travel time modules – all powered solely by the use of solar panels.

Each sign uses state-of-the-art, high efficiency display boards outfitted with high-intensity LEDs and a patented tilting mechanism capable of refining the viewing angle to ensure the travel times are visible to all passing motorists.
